- •Strong proficiency in MATLAB
- •Solid understanding of optical communication principles
- •Knowledge of link budgets, BER analysis, and modulation formats
- •Familiarity with signal integrity concepts
- •Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team
- •Experience with photonic components and their integration
- •Exposure to ASIC design flow and high-speed interfaces
- •Knowledge of simulation tools beyond MATLAB

- •Perform link budget analysis and signal integrity studies
- •Evaluate system performance under various conditions

- •Optimize design parameters based on simulation results
- •Collaborate with ASIC, photonics, and hardware teams to define system architecture
- •Establish interface requirements for system components
- •Analyze trade-offs between power, bandwidth, latency, and cost
- •Support system validation and characterization
- •Correlate simulation results with lab measurements
- •Document modeling methodologies, assumptions, and results
