Requirements
- Advanced education degree (e.g. Bachelor, MA, MSc) preferred
- At least 2-3 years of experience as a Scheduler
- Experience with SAP MM & PP, OMP preferred
- Ability to influence Supply Chain and functional leaders
- Good communication skills in English, German preferred
- Strong analytical skills with KPI measurement and reporting
- Ability to use production scheduling systems
- Competent using MS Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to utilize Business Intelligence systems for data extraction
Tasks
- Maintain and improve the production schedule
- Ensure accurate communication of the production schedule to relevant departments
- Create, track, and maintain short-term schedules for visibility
- Incorporate input from departments to ensure realistic schedules
- Optimize schedules by balancing demand priorities and resource utilization
- Incorporate feedback on changes to existing plans in a timely manner
- Maintain planning and scheduling parameters in the planning system
- Generate KPIs and operational measures to identify trends
- Provide accurate production schedule data for the MRP process
- Review production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables for requirements
- Monitor production data for continuous improvement activities
