Requirements
- University degree in (business) engineering with logistics/production focus
- Several years relevant professional SCM experience
- Willingness and ability to cooperate
- Strong organizational skills
- High sense of responsibility
- Strong decision-making and assertiveness
- Excellent English language command
- Very good ERP systems proficiency (SAP, proAlpha, BPCS)
- Strong negotiation skills
Tasks
- Manage plant supply chain processes, including production planning, material availability, and data acquisition
- Ensure high delivery reliability
- Ensure compliance with occupational safety, health, and environmental protection requirements
- Ensure compliance with quality and energy management requirements
- Monitor and control material inventories and flows efficiently
- Maintain minimal stock levels while ensuring stable production
- Define and ensure smooth processes in procurement, production planning, material flow, and shipping
- Post transactions correctly into the local ERP system
- Provide professional and disciplinary leadership for the SCM team
- Lead material procurement and management
- Lead the raw materials warehouse
- Lead shipping operations
- Lead production planning
- Motivate and develop employees
- Foster collaboration and communication within the department
- Foster collaboration and communication across departmental boundaries
- Ensure compliance with occupational and environmental protection targets
- Ensure compliance with delivery performance targets
- Ensure compliance with on-time delivery targets
- Ensure compliance with quality targets
- Further develop the KPI system
- Manage and continuously optimize logistics processes
- Manage inventory effectively
- Improve communication between suppliers, internal and external production units, service providers, and sales/customers
- Organize the local S&OP process
- Participate in the central S&OP process
- Represent the plant in national working groups
- Represent the plant in international working groups
- Prepare risk assessments within the Integrated Management System (IMS)
- Update risk assessments within the Integrated Management System (IMS)
- Prepare process descriptions within the Integrated Management System (IMS)
- Update process descriptions within the Integrated Management System (IMS)
- Assume entrepreneurial duties within your area of responsibility
