Supplier Product Quality Development Engineer(m/w/x)
Assessing supplier quality for transportation systems like high-speed trains and electric buses. Minimum 5 years in manufacturing quality or project roles, with supplier qualification standards familiarity required. Hybrid work, 30 days vacation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, or equivalent
- Min 5 years experience within manufacturing, Quality, or Project role
- Familiarity with supplier qualifications standards (ISO, ASME, IRIS, Local Standards, etc.)
- Experience managing supplier relationships
- Experience using SAP or similar ERP system
- Quality professional background with knowledge of quality tools (PFMEA, control plan, QRQC, 8D, Quality Wall, etc.)
- Fluency in English
Tasks
- Monitor product quality during development
- Conduct supplier quality risk assessments at the business award stage
- Ensure supplier compliance with Alstom quality requirements before the 'Go Order' milestone
- Prepare and perform customer First Article Inspection (FAI) as needed
- Follow up on supplier action plans and Supplier Quality Status (SQS)
- Drive suppliers to meet FAI Go On Time targets
- Perform handover to Supplier Quality Serial Life after FAI Go and first three successful deliveries
- Assist in resolving critical non-conformities and issues with suppliers, including escalated warranty issues
- Manage non-conformity problem solving until FAI Go and handover is completed
