Requirements
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong conflict resolution skills
- Excellent German and English language skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Ability to work effectively in multicultural environment
- Excellent service skills
- Organizational experience in running events
- Initiative in problem-solving and proactive action
- 1-3 years experience in student services or comparative field
- Completion of commercial apprenticeship
- Practical experience in service (hotel, customer admin, higher education)
Tasks
- Support students in completing their degree programs
- Answer questions about study-related topics and support needs
- Provide guidance on Bafög applications, health insurance, and other concerns
- Assist students with semester abroad and internship inquiries
- Help students retake exams and apply for semester breaks
- Offer timely and effective service to students
- Respond to diverse inquiries via various systems and in person
- Organize and support student events and clubs
- Increase student engagement and sense of belonging
- Identify at-risk students and offer appropriate support
- Refer students to relevant campus support services
- Maintain up-to-date information on campus support resources
- Oversee and support the peer mentor program
- Train student mentors
- Share suggestions for improving the campus and learning environment
