Requirements

  • •Student in computer science, photonics, physics, engineering or similar
  • •Basic knowledge of laboratories, scientific equipment, and data processing
  • •Motivation to learn optical sensor technologies and methods
  • •Willingness to work on-site (ca. 75%)
  • •Independent, systematic approach, creative and analytical thinking
  • •Commitment, team orientation, and communication skills
  • •Fluency in spoken and written German or English
  • •Friendly, reliable, and open manner

Tasks

  • •Learn the existing PBRT-based simulation and Python framework
  • •Analyze 3D results from simulations and physical experiments
  • •Prototype and implement software using Python and C++
  • •Test and validate software components
  • •Set up and characterize prototype hardware
  • •Enhance existing algorithms for 3D calculation
