Requirements
- Deep knowledge of PyTorch and distributed training
- Experience in ML system design
- Experience in optimizing model architectures for efficient inference and training
- History of building and automating complex data pipelines for ML
- Familiarity with tools for ML in production and model deployment
- Strong Python coding skills and expertise in best practices and design patterns
- Experience with version control tools and creating reproducible, containerized environments
- Well versed in CI/CD pipelines
- Experience working with Cloud providers to scale and automate ML workflows
- Proven technical leadership on cross-functional initiatives
- Strategic influence in shaping technical roadmap for products
- High technical judgment and pragmatic decision-making
- Experience with CUDA and GPUs for accelerated computing
- Experience with 3D data and related computational challenges
- Experience with ML in healthcare and data privacy challenges
Tasks
- Lead design and implementation of ML systems
- Build and improve code for training ML models
- Collaborate with data scientists to train and fine-tune ML models
- Optimize and troubleshoot production ML code and models
- Deploy and monitor ML models in production
- Grow knowledge of production ML tools and concepts within the team
- Guide the team in adopting best ML engineering practices
