Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in medicine, pharmacy, health economics, or equivalent
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in pharmaceutical and/or medical device sales or market access
  • Strong knowledge of Government requirements, standards, and processes in Switzerland and Austria
  • Experience in Health Economics, particularly modelling and cost-effectiveness analysis
  • Proven experience in value demonstration, value dossier, and value communication
  • Relationships with decision makers and key influencers
  • In-depth understanding of health insurance systems, reimbursement pathways, price negotiations, and contracting
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to perform independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to prioritize and drive for results with an emphasis on quality
  • Ability to analyze diverse sets of complex information and distill into recommended strategy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate at multiple levels of an organization
  • Good organizational and analytical skills
  • Well-developed negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated, ambitious, and positive
  • Strong computer proficiency and experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Fluent in German and English (day-to-day working language)

  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in national healthcare systems
  • Identify policy priorities and share insights with leadership
  • Educate stakeholders to influence medical policy decisions and improve access
  • Collaborate on value dossiers and adapt value propositions to local needs
  • Support pricing strategy implementation and value-based contracting
  • Analyze pricing data, including External Reference Pricing
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Medical, and Customer Care to align on access strategies
  • Provide strategic insights and feedback to internal teams
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market dynamics and payer needs
  • Drive access mindset through training and communication initiatives
