Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Motion Design, Visual Communication, Film/Animation, Graphic Design, or related field
  • 8+ years in motion/visual design and brand storytelling
  • 2+ years in lead/manager/player-coach capacity
  • Proficiency using generative AI tools/workflows
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Track record building template ecosystems and reusable creative systems
  • Strong understanding of brand governance and quality standards
  • Working knowledge of accessibility considerations for motion/content
  • Experience with creative automation/versioning/localization workflows is a plus
  • Experience directing external partners

Tasks

  • Lead AI-assisted exploration for visual directions
  • Generate and refine brand imagery explorations
  • Develop storyframes and motion studies
  • Create rapid iterations for quick direction convergence
  • Build scalable creative systems
  • Develop reusable templates and toolkits
  • Maintain campaign kits and social/event packages
  • Create presentation frameworks and motion template libraries
  • Improve consistency and throughput with creative systems
  • Elevate motion craft in execution
  • Set a high bar for motion design in initiatives
  • Provide hands-on design and feedback for motion
  • Ensure polish in typography-in-motion and transitions
  • Focus on pacing, clarity, and modern brand expression
  • Run focused reviews and critiques
  • Provide clear, actionable feedback to keep work moving
  • Reduce thrash and improve first-pass quality
  • Escalate issues when necessary
  • Operationalize responsible AI practices
  • Apply established AI guardrails
  • Document AI workflows, including prompt libraries
  • Note provenance where needed
  • Flag AI risks early, such as brand safety
  • Coach designers on motion craft
  • Mentor designers on AI workflows
  • Share playbooks and examples
  • Provide 'how we did it' documentation
  • Raise team capability in motion and AI
  • Lead special projects as assigned
  • Own coordination for time-sensitive workstreams
  • Ensure quality and delivery readiness for projects
  • Partner with project leads and Creative Director
  • Interpret briefs into motion/visual concept routes
  • Bring strong taste and clear recommendations
  • Manage partners as needed
  • Coordinate freelancers and vendors for execution support
  • Maintain creative consistency and quality with partners
