Sr. Manager-Maintenance(m/w/x)

Description

In this role, you will oversee the maintenance of packaging and device assembly lines, ensuring minimal service interruptions while leading a team of Technicians. Your daily responsibilities will include promoting safety, managing budgets, and fostering employee development, all while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Requirements

• •Solid understanding of mechatronic disciplines
• •Maintenance and repair methodologies knowledge
• •Process Controls Network knowledge
• •Excellent working knowledge of process maintenance
• •Knowledge of workforce/supplier capabilities
• •Awareness of progressive developments in the industry
• •Experience in a GMP environment
• •Excellent working knowledge of electrical and mechanical disciplines
• •Understanding of contributions and functions of multiple trades
• •Management experience in a similar role
• •Preferably within maintenance or engineering sector
• •Minimum of 5 years of Process Maintenance Management Support experience
• •Experience in biotech, pharmaceutical or healthcare facility
• •Experience within a GMP environment

Tasks

• •Ensure optimal performance of packaging and device assembly lines
• •Minimize service interruptions through effective maintenance
• •Supervise Technicians on rotating shifts for 24/7 operations
• •Adhere to and document the maintenance program
• •Support continuous improvement initiatives
• •Lead the Operations and Flow Team
• •Ensure compliance with cGMP and Lilly standards
• •Support capital projects and ensure safety compliance
• •Promote a safety culture in maintenance activities
• •Recognize hazards and implement safety measures
• •Mentor Technicians to balance technical skills and team cohesion
• •Provide technical expertise for troubleshooting equipment issues
• •Review and evaluate work orders for trends and solutions
• •Supervise Technicians in preventive and corrective maintenance
• •Own and execute the maintenance program
• •Establish and manage the maintenance budget
• •Provide 24-hour emergency response
• •Manage and train outside contractors
• •Encourage employee planning and goal development
• •Prepare processes for internal and external audits
• •Interact with stakeholders and suppliers to influence decisions
• •Develop employees and future leaders in the pharmaceutical field
• •Keep the maintenance team updated on technical knowledge
• •Foster an inclusive and engaged workplace
