As a Senior Accountant, you will lead a dedicated team while managing accounting and legal reporting for a cluster of companies. This role also involves collaborating with various departments and contributing to key finance projects, including the implementation of a new ERP system.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance/accounting
  • At least 5 years of experience in accounting
  • Good professional knowledge of accounting and tax rules
  • Extensive experience with accounting systems and Excel
  • Experience with Sage
  • Experience in leading people
  • Enjoyment of coaching people
  • Very good German
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Interest in lean operations and process optimization
  • Experience in a large company with modern processes
  • Experience with auditing
  • Prior experience with direct reports
  • Experience from regulated industry (pharma/medtech/OTC)
  • Meticulous, structured and responsible

Tasks

  • Lead the accounting team
  • Manage daily accounting tasks

  • Act as a liaison between the Avia Pharma Group and the local accounting team
