Specialist Accounting/Controlling(m/w/x)

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Expertise in accounting or finance roles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (SAP preferred, Oracle)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fluent English language skills, German a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams
• Well-organized with prioritization ability

Tasks

• Analyze financial data from shared service center
• Identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement
• Provide insights and recommendations to departments, shared service center, and management
• Support preparation of tax returns
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations
• Provide support during tax audits
• Assist with internal and external audits
• Prepare audit schedules
• Provide audit documentation
• Address audit findings
• Monitor internal controls for financial processes
• Comply with company policies, regulations, and best practices
• Identify control weaknesses
• Recommend corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations
• Ensure compliance with US-GAAP, statutory GAAP, and GFS
• Maintain accuracy of financial data
• Liaise with shared service center and stakeholders
• Deliver ad hoc analyses for business finance and accounting
• Prepare and compile internal statistical reports
• Prepare and compile governmental statistical reports
• Ensure reports follow established guidelines and deadlines
• Ensure all required information is accurate and complete
