Requirements

  • Completed freight/commercial apprenticeship or degree or comparable qualification
  • Experience in KEP/logistics in international environment (advantageous)
  • Customs clearance and dangerous goods transport knowledge (advantageous)
  • Very good German and English communication skills
  • Strong customer orientation and commercial understanding

Tasks

  • Contact customers daily to book shipments
  • Determine customer needs and find solutions
  • Independently buy and sell shipments
  • Create quotes and advise customers
  • Advise account managers
  • Develop custom logistics solutions
  • Monitor shipments to the destination
  • Ensure smooth transport operations
  • Proactively inform and communicate with customers
  • Purchase transport capacity from third parties
  • Arrange transport capacity from third parties
  • Design cost-efficient logistics chains
  • Support new customer acquisition
  • Handle internal administrative tasks
  • Work on internal projects
  • Exchange information with other German stations
  • Exchange information with international FedEx locations
  • Collaborate with transport companies
  • Collaborate with agents
  • Collaborate with other partners
  • Build strong business relationships
  • Maintain strong business relationships

Work Experience

  • approx. 1 - 4 years

Education

  • Vocational certificationOR
