Requirements

  • Degree in aerospace engineering, computer science, or comparable technical field
  • Solid experience in systems integration, simulation, or embedded/software systems engineering
  • Strong programming skills in C/C++ and/or Python
  • Hands-on experience with Linux environments and integration/test setups
  • Good understanding of networking and communication protocols
  • Experience with simulation environments, test benches, or SIL/HIL setups
  • Familiarity with avionics, onboard software, or satellite systems
  • Strong analytical skills for understanding complex systems and interfaces
  • Knowledge of Aerospace Standards: ECSS-E-ST-10, ECSS-E-ST-40, ARINC 653
  • English (C2) and German (B1) skills

Tasks

  • Develop and adapt onboard software (C/C++ <14)
  • Analyze and manage complex subsystem interactions
  • Design and configure system communication interfaces
  • Troubleshoot communication and networking protocols
  • Perform integration, verification, and validation (SIL)
  • Support debugging and root cause analysis
  • Optimize software in a Linux-based environment
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
