Description

As a Solution Architect, you will shape the product's architecture by defining solutions, collaborating with teams, and ensuring alignment with strategic goals. Your role involves guiding implementation and maintaining documentation, making a significant impact on the development process.

Requirements

• •Completed studies in computer science, electrical engineering, medical technology, or comparable qualification
• •Proven experience in software architecture or system design
• •Background as a Senior Developer, Software Architect, or equivalent technical leadership role
• •Strong knowledge of scalable system design, integration strategies, and DevSecOps practices
• •Excellent communication skills and ability to bridge business and technical perspectives
• •Experience in regulated environments or healthcare (preferred but not required)

Tasks

• •Define and maintain overall solution architecture
• •Align solution architecture with DHS reference architecture
• •Lead creation of blueprints and reference architecture documentation
• •Define and refine feature-level items with Product Management
• •Prioritize enablers and address architectural prerequisites for features
• •Participate in backlog refinement and architectural review sessions
• •Collaborate with Tech Leads in Scrum teams for consistent implementation
• •Act as a sounding board for implementation patterns and design choices
• •Provide architectural guidance during feature implementation
• •Serve as escalation point for architectural concerns from Scrum teams
• •Own and maintain architectural decision records (ADRs)
• •Contribute to defining technical standards and practices
• •Represent the product in the DHS Architecture Board
