Requirements

  • Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or comparable field, or equivalent qualification with strong testing expertise
  • Several years of professional experience in software testing, preferably in embedded software environments for battery management systems
  • Hands-on experience testing complex software systems, ideally including safety-relevance of resource-constrained systems
  • Strong knowledge of test design, test automation, and test analysis techniques
  • Experience analyzing complex software issues and developing existing solution approaches
  • Structured, analytical working style with strong quality mindset
  • Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating in interdisciplinary, international teams
  • Experience representing test solutions towards customers and suppliers
  • Ability to align technical solutions in interdisciplinary, international environments, including negotiation situations
  • Experience in functional guidance or mentoring

  • Define and resolve complex test challenges
  • Further develop existing test approaches and patterns
  • Define and represent test strategies and designs
  • Align test strategies with stakeholders
  • Develop and execute software tests
  • Plan and coordinate complex test activities
  • Evaluate functional, performance, and safety tests
  • Analyze and interpret test results
  • Derive and track corrective actions
  • Contribute to test automation and quality assurance
  • Ensure end-to-end software quality with teams
  • Improve test processes, methods, and tools
  • Focus on automation and efficiency
  • Create and document test results
  • Communicate test recommendations
