Requirements

  • Masters in computer science, software engineering, or comparable technical field, or equivalent qualification with strong software expertise
  • Extensive professional experience in embedded software development for complex systems in automotive or comparable environment
  • Strong expertise in embedded C software development, ideally in platform or product-line architectures
  • Experience in software platform development Multi Pack Controller and multi-product environment
  • Background in coordinating complex software topics and technical interfaces
  • High autonomy and technical accountability in complex development environments
  • Proven ability to solve novel and complex problems, developing robust and scalable solutions
  • Excellent communication skills and experience in functional leadership and coordination of interdisciplinary teams

Tasks

  • Lead technical development and evolution of complex embedded software platforms
  • Conduct technical reviews and make software-related release decisions
  • Represent software platform architectures and solutions to stakeholders
  • Serve as subject matter expert for complex software and platform topics
  • Develop and safeguard embedded software platforms, including system integration
  • Contribute to product development and change management activities
  • Assess technical impacts and coordinate software changes
  • Develop, implement, and improve software processes, methods, and standards
  • Execute complex analyses and derive corrective measures with system-level impact
  • Coordinate with cross-functional and international development teams
  • Prepare, document, and communicate software platform concepts and recommendations
