Requirements

  • Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, physics, or related technical/scientific field
  • Professional experience in radar-based environment perception
  • Experience in statistical signal processing, machine/deep learning, AI-based methods
  • Willingness to familiarize with new subject areas and develop new approaches
  • Experience in dealing with customers
  • Extensive C/C++ programming knowledge
  • Good spoken and written English
  • Willingness to work in an international team
  • Willingness to develop new approaches

Tasks

  • Develop algorithms for radar-based driver assistance systems
  • Validate algorithms for front and 360° applications
  • Create software for radar electronic control units (ECUs)
  • Develop software for central control units in highly automated driving
  • Evaluate algorithms for static and dynamic vehicle environment
  • Develop software modules for environment detection and interpretation
  • Test algorithms in laboratory and real driving conditions
  • Design innovative algorithms for vehicle environment modeling
  • Implement state-of-the-art algorithms for classification and assessment
  • Verify algorithms for accuracy and performance
  • Support system and software specification
  • Develop real-time simulation software for algorithm testing
  • Discuss and report results internally and to customers
