Requirements

  • •University degree in computer science or equivalent qualification
  • •Software architect experience
  • •Object-oriented analysis and design using UML
  • •Code programming skills in Java, C, Python
  • •GUI implementation for desktop applications with EMF and SW
  • •Sound knowledge of development environments (e.g. Eclipse IDE, Git, Maven, SonarQube)
  • •Special knowledge in data model design and relational database (e.g. Oracle)
  • •Experience in Electronic warfare and defensive aids systems
  • •Good communication skills
  • •Proactive mindset
  • •Ability to work in a team
  • •Familiarity with Agile software development processes and methods
  • •Fluency in English
  • •Knowledge in German would be a plus

Education

Bachelor's degree

Tasks

  • •Analyze use cases and stakeholder needs
  • •Define and develop software design solutions
  • •Evaluate and select optimal architectural solutions
  • •Understand user workflows to define software and GUI solutions
  • •Design and implement mission data preparation solutions
  • •Implement verification solutions using Eclipse RCP, OSGI, and Java
  • •Prepare and execute software tests for verification and validation
  • •Integrate activities in the Software Development Lifecycle
  • •Develop according to the Software Development Plan and Standards
