  • Familiarity with observability building blocks: metrics, logs, traces
  • Tools for data extraction (Prometheus, StatsD, OpenTelemetry)
  • Tools for data transformation (Vector, Beats, FluentBit)
  • Tools for data loading (OpenSearch, Grafana)
  • Comfort helping colleagues understand data for monitoring and incident recovery
  • Experience with GoLang or Python
  • Linux operating system proficiency
  • Cloud environment understanding and observability
  • Infrastructure as code using Terraform and AWS CDK
  • Strong desire to learn and improve
  • Passion for working with bleeding-edge technologies
  • Understanding of observability building blocks: metrics, logs, traces
