Requirements
- •5+ years Software Development or Linux Systems Administration experience
- •Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- •Availability for on-call rotation
- •Proficiency as Linux Production Systems Engineer
- •Python development experience (preferred)
- •Experience in Bash, Go, Java, C++, or Rust
- •Experience with Hadoop or Ceph
- •Experience with MongoDB, Redis, or Cassandra
- •Experience with ElasticSearch or Kafka
- •Scaling PostgreSQL or MySQL with High Availability
- •Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and Incident Management
- •Experience with Kubernetes and/or AWS
- •Experience with Software Distribution and Package management
- •Experience with ansible, saltstack, puppet, or chef
- •S/W Performance analysis and load testing experience

- •Lead technical discussions regarding reliability and scalability
- •Create high-level designs for new products and platforms
- •Mentor and empower junior SRE staff
- •Lead incident response and post-mortem activities
- •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize reliability
- •Address technical debt and operational toil
- •Contribute to code to improve system reliability
- •Implement automation to reduce ongoing manual work
