Tasks
- Manage site operations including manufacturing, technical services, and supply chain
- Coordinate activities across QA/QC, management, MSAT, HR, and finance
- Ensure site meets safety, quality, delivery, people, and financial objectives
- Develop and implement site strategy aligned with Lonza’s operational network
- Support the commercial business unit
- Implement HSE requirements per legal and Lonza standards
- Drive a proactive safety culture
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards in collaboration with Site QA Head
- Drive a proactive quality culture
- Implement continuous improvement programs within LBMS
- Communicate and deploy operations and business goals
- Ensure Lonza Corporate programs are implemented at the site
- Coordinate and align all functions within the site and BioScience matrix organization
- Manage manufacturing facilities to meet current and future demands
- Develop and execute site master plans and CAPEX plans
- Develop and align site annual target plans with BU BSR
- Ensure budgets, schedules, and performance requirements are met
- Coach and develop the Site Leadership Team
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create dual-sourcing opportunities
- Maximize business continuity
- Contribute to the Bioscience Operations leadership team
- Share best practices and ideas for global operations
- Perform other duties as assigned
