Site Contract Specialist(m/w/x)
Managing full contract lifecycle for energy, industrial, or technology projects at a global energy technology provider. 5-7 years progressive experience in contract administration or management required. IG Metall collective wage agreement, special payments, 30 days vacation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Engineering, or related field
- Master's degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPCM) (plus)
- Minimum 5-7 years progressive experience in contracts administration, contract management, or related commercial/legal role
- Experience preferably within energy, industrial, or technology sectors
- Strong understanding of contract law principles, commercial terms and conditions, and risk management strategies
- Experience with international contracts (highly advantageous)
- Proven ability to support and participate in complex contract negotiations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Keen eye for detail in reviewing legal and commercial documents
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to articulate complex contractual issues clearly and concisely
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with contract management software (e.g., Salesforce, SAP Ariba, or similar CLM systems)
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work collaboratively

Tasks
- Support contract proposals and negotiations.
- Draft, review, and analyze contract terms.
- Oversee contract execution.
- Administer contracts.
- Manage contract close-out processes.
- Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and best practices.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate contractual risks.
- Propose effective solutions for risks.
- Serve as the primary contact for contractual matters.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare, review, and maintain contract documentation.
- Support resolution of contractual disputes and claims.
- Analyze root causes of disputes and claims.
- Prepare arguments for disputes and claims.
- Facilitate dispute and claim negotiations.
- Improve contract administration processes and tools.
- Provide guidance and training on contractual matters.
- Educate teams on best practices and company policies.
