Requirements

  • •PhD or Master's degree in electrical engineering, physics, or a relevant field
  • •In-depth knowledge of semiconductor physics and electromagnetics
  • •In-depth knowledge of optical communications theory and digital communications theory
  • •Expertise in testing active and passive optoelectronic devices and integrated photonic circuits at die-level, module-level, and system-level
  • •Solid knowledge and experience with test automation and proficiency in Python coding, plus familiarity with Matlab, C++, or Java
  • •Understanding of device reliability and module-level qualification of products

  • •Develop and implement test strategies for optoelectronic devices
  • •Build setups for system testing
  • •Lead testing of active and passive photonic devices
  • •Implement high levels of test automation
  • •Supervise and maintain lab testing infrastructure
  • •Continuously improve lab testing processes
  • •Perform reliability tests on optical components and modules
  • •Provide precision measurement data to design teams
  • •Offer layout and test implementation feedback to design teams
  • •Contribute to design, NPI, manufacturing, and quality management teams
  • •Plan testing schedules aligned with development roadmaps
  • •Present technical results at internal reviews and conferences
