- Strong understanding of ITSM/ITIL processes
- Hands-on expertise with core ServiceNow modules
- Hands-on expertise with ServiceNow integrations
- Experience with ServiceNow cloud environment
- Experience with common ServiceNow configurations
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience working in a team environment
- BA/BS degree
- 5+ years recent specialized experience
- TESA Eligibility
- CompTIA Security+ certification
- Active DoD Secret clearance
- ServiceNow System Administrator (CSA) certification or higher (e.g., CIS-ITSM, CAD)
- Experience with ITOM, Discovery, CMDB modeling, or integration technologies (REST, SOAP, MID Server)
- Experience with Strategic Portfolio Management module suite
- Experience with Strategic Portfolio Management best practices
- Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity frameworks, RMF, STIGs, or secure development practices
- Experience with on-premises to cloud migrations
Tasks
- Lead ServiceNow platform administration, enhancement, and sustainment.
- Oversee day-to-day O&M operations.
- Ensure platform reliability, security compliance, and availability.
- Drive development efforts for ServiceNow modules.
- Deliver new capabilities, integrations, and workflow automations.
- Advise government stakeholders as a senior technical expert.
- Translate mission needs into scalable platform solutions.
- Guide configuration management, documentation, and governance practices.
- Maintain a secure and auditable environment.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Coordinate with onsite SME teams for rapid resolution.
- Contribute to modernization strategies, roadmaps, and architecture alignment.
- Perform advanced ServiceNow administration, configuration, and maintenance.
- Manage upgrades, patching, and performance tuning.
- Develop custom applications, flows, and business rules.
- Develop client scripts and integrations.
- Manage platform security, ACLs, roles, and data policies.
- Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements.
- Maintain and optimize ITSM, CMDB, and Change Management.
- Maintain and optimize SPM and Service Catalog.
- Lead testing, validation, and deployment for releases and enhancements.
- Provide expert guidance to junior administrators and support teams.
- Ensure adherence to best practices and DoD policies.
- Interface with government customers.
- Gather requirements, propose solutions, and deliver technical briefings.
