Rotor blade inspection and repair using epoxy resins and composite materials at wind turbine manufacturer. Rope access technician qualification and specialist knowledge of laminating fibers preferred. IG Metall collective agreement, regular technical training courses.

Requirements

  • Vocational training in engineering or comparable qualification
  • Specialist knowledge of epoxy resins and fibres
  • Ideally qualification as rope access technician
  • High level of safety awareness
  • Independent preparation of technical reports
  • Willingness to travel within Germany
  • Familiarity with Microsoft, iOS, and SAP
  • Driving licence, ideally class C1E
  • Very good German and good English

Tasks

  • Perform on-site servicing and maintenance of wind turbines
  • Inspect and repair rotor blades within a team
  • Study the complex structure and components of rotor blades
  • Execute modification work to improve turbine performance
  • Work practically with laminating resins and composite materials
  • Document work digitally in a simple and efficient way

Education

  • Vocational certification

  • German – Business Fluent
  • English – Business Fluent
