Maintenance and repair of high-voltage switchgear and circuit breakers at energy transition projects, primary site contact. Technical education, practical installation/service experience, and German B2 (or commitment) required. IG Metall collective agreement with special payments, plus overtime pay.

Requirements

  • Technical education or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Practical experience in installation, commissioning, or service
  • Willingness to travel for assignments
  • Valid driving licence
  • German language skills (B2) or commitment to achieve B2
  • Residence in Germany required
  • Valid work permit and ability to invoice in Germany for freelancers

Tasks

  • Perform maintenance and repairs on air insulated switchgear and generator circuit breakers
  • Act as the primary contact person on construction sites
  • Provide advice and support to customers and colleagues
  • Coordinate with internal and external partners
  • Familiarize yourself with company products and conduct briefings during acceptance inspections
  • Prioritize safety in all tasks
  • Identify and engage in potential improvements

Education

  • Vocational certificationOR
  • Bachelor's degree
