Requirements

  • •Degree in Veterinary Medicine with recognition as Diplomate ACVAA/ECVAA, specialist in Anaesthesia, or completion of residency program
  • •Several years of experience in veterinary anaesthesia, ideally in a senior role
  • •Strong knowledge of modern anaesthetic techniques and equipment, and local anaesthesia, particularly ultrasound-guided procedures
  • •Team-oriented, communicative, and responsible approach to work
  • •High motivation for continuous professional development and advancement of the department
  • •Good command of German and/or willingness to learn the language quickly

Tasks

  • •Oversee all anaesthetic procedures
  • •Plan and administer anaesthesia for surgical and diagnostic procedures
  • •Train and supervise junior veterinarians and support staff in anaesthesia
  • •Assist in developing and implementing new treatment standards and protocols
  • •Collaborate with other departments for optimal patient care
  • •Participate in on-call and emergency duty one weekend per month
