Requirements

  • At least 5 years in underwriting, ideally including reinsurance experience
  • University degree in insurance, finance, business, health, medicine, or professional insurance qualification
  • Confident German and/or English communication skills

  • Confident working with MS Office
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Flexibility for occasional domestic and international travel

  • Assess and underwrite complex biometric risks
  • Focus on medical, financial, and special risks
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Collaborate with international offices and subsidiaries
  • Drive strategic initiatives and innovative topics
  • Work with Market Units and Research & Development
  • Take ownership of underwriting quality
  • Conduct audits and test system updates
  • Provide feedback on underwriting processes
  • Share expertise through presentations and workshops
  • Strengthen underwriting capabilities across the business
