- •Construction underwriting experience preferred
- •Recognized relationships with clients and brokers
- •Thorough understanding of Engineering & Construction insurance
- •Thorough understanding of policy wordings
- •Ability to work effectively in a small team
- •Capable of leveraging data and analytics
- •Excellent negotiation skills
- •Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- •Results-oriented
- •Degree in engineering/construction or related field preferred
- •Ideally ACII qualified or working towards it
Education
Bachelor's degree
Work Experience
approx. 4 - 6 years
Tasks
- •Negotiate and make business decisions for financial targets.
- •Assist in developing and executing strategic initiatives.
- •Make quick decisions while working with brokers.
- •Provide streamlined service to brokers using guidelines and tools.
- •Establish a pipeline of target accounts across all insurance lines.
- •Monitor profitability trends using existing reports and data.
- •Stay updated on market developments in your region.
- •Understand policy forms and collaborate on complex coverage issues.
- •Build long-term relationships with brokers and clients.
- •Train and support junior team members.
