Requirements
- Master’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Engineering, or related scientific discipline
- Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Experience delivering technical demonstrations and customer training
- Experience utilizing CRM systems (Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Project and priority management in dynamic commercial environment
- Deep technical knowledge of HPLC systems, applications, and portfolio
- Strong understanding of laboratory workflows and customer requirements
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Strong analytical thinking and strategic planning capabilities
- Mandatory proficiency in German; required proficiency in English
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and customer engagement skills
- Ability to analyze market trends and competitive landscapes
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a matrix organization
- Willingness to travel 50–75% within assigned territory
- Valid driver’s license and ability to lift/move equipment
Tasks
- Drive sales growth for HPLC portfolio in Germany
- Serve as technical expert for HPLC products
- Partner with customers to understand application needs
- Provide technical consultation and product demonstrations
- Deliver tailored solutions to meet customer requirements
- Collaborate with commercial and technical teams
- Execute territory strategies and support key accounts
- Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales process
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships
- Identify customer needs and recommend HPLC solutions
- Deliver technical presentations and customer training
- Support sales opportunities from lead generation to closing
- Analyze market trends and competitive activities
- Inform sales strategies with customer insights
- Maintain accurate customer records and forecasts
- Manage territory activities and travel extensively
- Support post-sales customer success
- Participate in industry conferences and events
