Requirements

  • Hands-on engineering with strong system understanding
  • Enjoyment of solving complex technical challenges

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
  • Experience in commissioning, field service, system engineering, or troubleshooting of complex equipment
  • Strong understanding of control systems / control engineering
  • Ability to think across disciplines (mechanical, electrical, software, system level)
  • Experience in semiconductor equipment, special-purpose machinery, vacuum technology, or automation
  • Hands-on mindset
  • Willingness to work directly on complex systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Interest in documentation, training, and knowledge transfer
  • Fluent English
  • German language skills
  • Willingness to travel internationally

Tasks

  • Commission and calibrate complex manufacturing systems
  • Support systems at customer sites worldwide
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting on equipment
  • Develop and document Best Known Methods (BKMs)
  • Create troubleshooting guides and service bulletins
  • Develop and deliver training materials
  • Train Customer Engineers and Technical Product Support teams
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality & Reliability, and Software teams
  • Conduct and coordinate reliability tests
  • Drive root cause analysis and CAPA processes
  • Contribute to technical improvements
  • Build and scale global technical knowledge
  • Act as a technical multiplier
  • Solve problems and build frameworks
  • Enable global teams to operate and support systems efficiently
  • Play a critical role in scaling knowledge across the organization
