In this role, you will spearhead innovative research in speech and translation technologies, focusing on developing and optimizing models. You will collaborate with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and high-quality performance in real-time applications.

Requirements

• •Deep expertise in speech, audio, or multilingual ML
• •Hands-on experience in training models and debugging pipelines
• •Strong understanding of real-time streaming constraints
• •Experience shipping ML models to production and maintaining them
• •Ability to lead complex research efforts with product impact
• •Strong coding and experimentation skills
• •Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate across teams
• •Proven experience mentoring others in applied research

Tasks

• •Lead research and development for ASR, MT, TTS, and speech-to-speech translation
• •Design, train, and optimize large-scale ASR models for multilingual accuracy
• •Enhance cascaded translation pipelines from segmentation to incremental decoding
• •Develop real-time TTS models with natural prosody and fast inference
• •Build and experiment with end-to-end and LLM-based speech-to-speech translation systems
• •Manage the full lifecycle of model delivery from prototyping to production deployment
• •Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate models into real-time systems
• •Improve inference efficiency and model serving for voice user experience
• •Establish practices for evaluation, reproducibility, and continuous model improvement
• •Mentor researchers and engineers to promote collaboration and model quality
