Requirements
- University degree in relevant field
- Strong understanding of OTA update architectures
- Knowledge of automotive cybersecurity
- Understanding of functional safety and SOTIF principles
- Familiarity with type approval and homologation frameworks
- Ability to interpret regulatory standards and specifications
- Diplomatic but firm appearance and communication
- Ability to influence engineering decisions (regulatory)
- Professional leadership of internal/external teams
Tasks
- Develop governance for agile software update compliance
- Translate regulatory and standards into engineering guidelines
- Ensure software update compliance from planning to post-deployment
- Address cybersecurity, safety, and availability requirements
- Define and maintain the SUMS
- Conduct internal audits
- Support external regulatory audits
- Support type approval activities
- Prepare compliance reports
- Prepare safety case documents
- Prepare regulatory evidence packages
- Recommend process and tooling improvements for automated compliance
