Requirements

  • 3+ years building scalable backend systems and APIs
  • Strong experience with AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, SQS/SNS) and AWS CDK
  • Solid programming in Rust, TypeScript, or similar languages (C/C++, Python)
  • Experience designing APIs for external customers
  • Ownership mindset, problem anticipation, independent work, proactive communication
  • Comfortable with Docker, Git, testing, and fast-moving environments
  • Rust in production, event-driven architectures, DynamoDB, AI/ML experience (nice to have)

  • Design and build scalable APIs using Rust and TypeScript
  • Own data modeling and data flows
  • Ensure API reliability across AWS infrastructure
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code with AWS CDK
  • Drive CI/CD improvements
  • Collaborate with data, search, and product teams

  • Shape technical direction through strong judgment and communication
