Requirements

  • Results-orientation, collaboration, pragmatism, continuous improvement mindset
  • Multiple experiences with Java and Spring Boot
  • Experience designing and building scalable products/services
  • Experience with cloud (preferably AWS) and Terraform
  • Experience or strong interest in Fraud, KYC, Disputes, or Transaction Monitoring
  • Great problem-solving abilities and ability to articulate technical tradeoffs
  • Working proficiency in English

Tasks

  • Solve complex technical problems
  • Transition from internal tools to external products
  • Participate in architecture and technical decisions
  • Establish centralized ownership for Fraud Risk Scoring and Alerting
  • Support and mentor other engineers
  • Own products and services end-to-end
  • Architect solutions to turn risk into a product
  • Collaborate in a dynamic, autonomous environment
  • Define boundaries in transaction monitoring and financial risk exposure
  • Contribute to team culture and ways of working
  • Use agile methodologies and pair programming
  • Leverage the latest technologies to solve customer problems
  • Ensure security compliance (GDPR)
  • Participate in on-call rotation
  • Share knowledge and build creative solutions
  • Help evolve best practices

Education

  • Bachelor's degreeOR
  • Master's degree
