Requirements

  • •Experience with PLCs and/or other OT systems
  • •Experience as a software/automation engineer with PLC or other OT technologies
  • •Willingness to adopt modern software engineering approaches
  • •Experience operating and supporting large-scale software/OT systems
  • •Experience in companies with strong operational cultures
  • •Proficiency with various technologies
  • •PLC programming (TIA19 is a plus)
  • •Robot programming (KRL is a plus)
  • •OPC-UA
  • •MQTT is a plus
  • •Python / C++ / C# is a plus
  • •Familiarity with monitoring and alerting practices
  • •Experience defining and working with SLAs/SLOs
  • •Willingness to travel to manufacturing site in Richen and for team events

Work Experience

approx. 4 - 6 years

Tasks

  • •Understand and explain the existing PLC/OT code base
  • •Collaborate with the team to evolve the architecture into a Software Defined Manufacturing setup
  • •Monitor, maintain, and improve software uptime and efficiency
  • •Act as a bridge between digital product delivery and physical logistics
  • •Define, monitor, and evolve SLAs/SLOs and other critical KPIs
