Requirements

• •In-depth knowledge of cloud providers and their services and APIs
• •Deep understanding of Kubernetes microservices architectures and internal components
• •Confident presentation and strong influence skills
• •Proficiency in modern programming languages, preferably Typescript, Javascript or Go
• •Ability to create and consume Rest APIs
• •Outcome over output-based mindset
• •A start-small-learn-fast attitude
• •Empathy for developers and passion for internal platforms
• •Experience leveraging AI tools to drive problem-solving and productivity
• •Experience with designing and operating a network architecture in the cloud including load-balancing, CDNs and logically isolated virtual networks
• •Experience with AWS CDK, Python, Kotlin/Java
• •Experience building/maintaining backstage.io based developer portals

Tasks

• •Shape, build, and maintain a scalable compute platform
• •Support networking, persistence, and compute requirements for applications
• •Provide seamless capabilities and integrations for internal developers
• •Develop and integrate observability services for application insights
• •Empower teams to build customer-centric products
• •Enable data-driven decision-making for application management
• •Lead by example and focus on delivering outcomes
• •Develop products around cloud infrastructure, including Kubernetes and Docker
• •Support companywide adoption of cloud technologies
• •Solve complex problems in a distributed system
• •Apply product thinking in tool and service development
• •Mentor team members for professional growth
• •Share knowledge through blog posts and at meetups
