Requirements

  • 6+ years software development experience
  • Expertise in web application development using component-based frameworks
  • High proficiency in TypeScript
  • Experience designing architecture and deployment of web applications & services
  • Experience writing tests
  • Ability to turn ideas into fast, reliable, maintainable code
  • Positive, proactive team player passionate about craft
  • Customer-centric prioritization and data-driven decision making
  • Mature judgment in AI tool usage, proactive AI adoption, and supporting others in AI application
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English
  • Backend experience with Java and Springboot
  • Experience with A/B testing, hypothesis building, and event-based analytics
  • Knowledge of Node.js, Vue.js, or similar component-based Frontend frameworks
  • Prior experience in e-commerce space
  • Prior experience in start-up environments

Tasks

  • Collaborate with product team to solve user problems
  • Contribute to shaping product experience
  • Develop frontend and backend solutions using TypeScript and Node.js
  • Own Server-Driven UI backend-for-frontend (BFF) layer
  • Design and implement backend components for dynamic UI configurations
  • Work closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders
  • Drive stakeholder conversations and align with business needs
  • Advocate for customer needs in all development steps
  • Design and launch A/B experiments
  • Iterate on experiments to gain customer insights
  • Improve codebase, systems, and processes
  • Design scalable and efficient solutions
  • Mentor and support team members
  • Participate in the hiring process
  • Set team-wide standards for responsible AI adoption
  • Leverage AI tooling to accelerate development workflows
  • Drive measurable improvements in product development speed and quality
  • Integrate AI into daily engineering practice
