Senior Software Development Engineer Embedded Systems / System Integration(m/w/x)

Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or comparable field
- Long-term (>=7 years) embedded software/firmware development experience
- Very good C/C++ knowledge
- Very good software architecture knowledge
- Very good embedded systems knowledge
- Experience with ASPICE
- Experience with MISRA
- Experience with configuration management
- Experience with version management
- AUTOSAR (BSW, RTE, SW-C, CDD) knowledge is an advantage
- Corresponding toolchains (e.g. Vector DaVinci) knowledge is an advantage
- Basic to advanced understanding of automotive cybersecurity concepts
- Understanding of cybersecurity impact on architecture
- Understanding of cybersecurity impact on requirements
- Understanding of cybersecurity impact on customer interfaces
- Understanding of hardware fundamentals
- Ability to read schematics
- Use of measurement equipment (oscilloscope, logic analyzer)
- Strong system-level thinking capability
- High solution orientation

Tasks
- Develop embedded firmware and system software
- Analyze and define system, software, and interface requirements
- Create software and test specifications
- Execute unit and integration tests
- Contribute to architecture and platform decisions
- Collaborate with hardware development on HW/SW interfaces
- Address system-level cybersecurity for embedded ECUs
- Analyze complex technical and organizational challenges
- Develop non-standard and pragmatic solutions
- Ensure stable and high-quality solutions under demanding conditions
- Translate complex technical content for non-expert audiences
- Coordinate technically with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
- Participate in reviews, decision processes, and technical escalations
- Own end-to-end technical topics or sub-projects
- Identify risks, dependencies, and required actions
- Contribute to continuous process, tool, and standard improvements
