Senior Software Engineer, AVOS, DRIVE OS and BSP - Automotive(m/w/x)
Designing and implementing Linux/QNX OS components for AVOS and DRIVE OS software stack. Extensive hands-on BSP porting and device driver internals experience required. Collaboration with internal teams and OEM customer support.
Requirements
- Degree from leading university or equivalent experience in engineering/computer science
- Fundamental knowledge of SoC architectures and on-chip components
- Strong knowledge of C/C++, QNX and/or Linux OS
- Understanding of CPU/GPU architectures, data structures, OS internals, multi-threading, inter-process communications, memory management
- Extensive hands-on experience in BSP porting and device driver internals
- Knowledge and experience in multicore/heterogenous SoCs, camera/imaging/video/graphics/compute systems
- Prior experience in software development in complex automotive systems
- Excellent communication and organization skills, logical problem solving, time management, task prioritization, interpersonal skills
- Willingness to support customers/NVIDIA partners onsite regularly
- Experience with QNX OS for Safety (QOS)
- Exposure in hypervisors and virtualization
- Knowledge of bootloaders
- Experience with Automotive SPICE and/or ISO26262 standards
- Extensive customer support onsite and offsite
Tasks
- Support AVOS and DRIVE OS software stack
- Collaborate with internal software teams
- Understand base software layer requirements
- Design and implement Linux/QNX OS components
- Support OEM customers in porting AVOS and DRIVE OS
- Ensure program requirements and KPIs are met
- Work closely with customers to adapt software
- Debug and profile ECU bring-up issues
