Requirements

  • •Studies in Engineering, Control Systems, Mathematics, Physics or similar
  • •Proven experience as a software developer or architect in a professional software development environment for bare metal controllers (C/C++), real-time operating systems (Linux) or similar machine-oriented applications
  • •Excellent understanding of real-time applications like fast embedded control systems
  • •In-depth knowledge of another technical domain, for example software under real-time operating systems
  • •Ability to efficiently develop optimum solutions using the latest tools and methods in low level programming
  • •Clear, precise, and empathetic communication skills
  • •Experience with VHDL or similar languages
  • •Good English and optionally German language

Bachelor's degree
OR
Master's degree

Work Experience

Tasks

  • •Define software architecture for lithography systems
  • •Find solutions for embedded control systems
  • •Analyze system requirements and negotiate technical specifications
  • •Propose solution options with the team
  • •Maintain consistency with legacy technical solutions
  • •Ensure compatibility across products
  • •Prove technical feasibility and guide development teams
  • •Define work packages and integration plans
  • •Create prototypes, proofs of concept, and final software
  • •Promote new technologies and concepts to drive innovation
  • •Lead communications with stakeholders including engineers and project managers
  • •Contribute to the technology roadmap with innovative ideas
