Description

In this role, you will lead certification activities for aircraft seating, ensuring compliance and quality. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include performing critical analyses, collaborating with teams, and reviewing documentation to support the integration of seating products.

Requirements

• •Bachelor’s degree in engineering, within Stress/Structures/Mechanical or Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering
• •5+ years' experience in commercial aircraft design with EASA Part 21, Subpart J Design Organization or equivalent
• •Experience within seat development and certification, including test witnessing and (E-)TSO programs
• •Extensive experience with EASA regulatory and applicable airworthiness requirements
• •High level of attention to detail and extensive experience with aircraft interior modification programs
• •Experience in working effectively with colleagues and customers
• •Proficiency with key engineering tools: Altair HyperWorks, PATRAN / NASTRAN
• •Principled, reliable professional valuing integrity, safety, and accountability
• •Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent

Tasks

• •Lead certification activities for aircraft seating products
• •Act as the technical focal point for stress, engineering, and certification topics
• •Perform analytical and finite element calculations
• •Assess and predict structural failure modes
• •Execute root cause analysis
• •Compile structural substantiation documents
• •Review supplier data for seat integration approval
• •Collaborate with Boeing teams and stakeholders to ensure quality delivery of the aircraft cabin
