Requirements

  • Degree in computer science, business informatics, or comparable subject
  • Strong understanding of SAP BW architecture, data modelling, and integration concepts
  • Use of techniques such as CDS, CV, and AMDP for data query optimization
  • Experience with SAP tools, especially SAP BW in S/4HANA, ABAP/ABAP OO programming, and SQL scripting
  • Experience with the Eclipse development environment
  • Fluent English language skills
  • Experience with ETL tools, such as Alteryx or Tableau Prep
  • Proficiency in optimizing performance of data flows, queries, and reports
  • Familiarity with front-end reporting tools, e.g. Tableau or SAP Analytics Cloud
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience working in product-oriented teams

Tasks

  • Design and implement data models in SAP BW
  • Extract and transform data from various source systems
  • Monitor and optimize data extraction processes
  • Collaborate with business departments to assess data requirements
  • Coordinate with external partners for data integration
  • Document data extraction, transformation, and integration processes
