Senior Sales Engineer(m/w/x)
Direct and partner channel sales support for secure virtual desktop infrastructure and connectivity products. Minimum 10 years of technical pre-sales experience with ETX and OpenText systems required. Reasonable accommodation for disabilities provided.
Requirements
- 10+ years’ experience in sales engineering or pre-sales technical roles
- 10+ years’ experience with Rocket Software ETX
- Expertise in secure virtual desktop infrastructure market
- Expertise in Opentext Connectivity products
- Technical expertise in Linux, Unix, and Windows
- Understanding of mainframe and as/400 environments
- Expertise in containerisation and cloud platforms
- Experience in REST API development
- Experience in network security and encryption
- Knowledge of Authentication processes and solutions
- Experience with scripting languages
- Advanced education or equivalent professional experience
Tasks
- Support sales teams to close business with new and existing customers
- Manage sales through direct and partner channels
- Build long-term relationships in new and existing accounts
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations and solution overviews
- Establish trusted advisor status within key accounts
- Execute POCs linking business use cases to technical solutions
- Provide mentorship and guidance as an ETX subject matter expert
- Develop peer-level champion relationships using interpersonal skills
- Collaborate with the EMEA virtual Connectivity Sales Engineering Team
- Partner with the DACH regional Sales Engineering Team and local colleagues
