Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics
  • Professional Engineer or Certified Fire Protection Specialist Designation (desired)
  • Many years of highly protected risk, specialized industry and/or boiler and machinery field experience
  • Knowledge of light to high hazard occupancies
  • Strong communication skills in German and English
  • Ability to work in a flexible environment
  • Ability to perform inspections of buildings and structures
  • Ability to read construction drawings and diagrams

Tasks

  • Perform property loss prevention reviews of commercial accounts
  • Document account review results in a data-driven application
  • Conduct periodic client service meetings with underwriting, brokers, and clients
  • Analyze and manage risk improvements for accounts
  • Work with clients to prioritize and implement risk improvements
  • Translate client needs into a client service plan
  • Conduct property loss prevention surveys at key client facilities
  • Technically analyze loss prevention attributes of facilities
  • Conduct consultative visits and witness fire protection equipment testing
  • Provide engineering data system support and guidance

Work Experience

  • approx. 4 - 6 years

Education

  • Bachelor's degree
