- Provide DFT directions at the concept stage
- Devise test and configuration strategies for new products
- Design and develop automated production systems
- Plan projects to ensure timely development and validation
- Design specific tests to identify hardware defects
- Implement validation plans for production systems
- Install and validate production systems at final facilities
- Optimize processes between pilot and volume production
