Tasks
- Strategize medical writing team with two direct reports
- Oversee task distribution and project progression
- Ensure timely delivery within budget
- Supervise and mentor two medical writers
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback
- Identify and address training and development needs
- Motivate and foster team coherence
- Contribute to medical writing strategies and best practices
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Ensure team adherence to quality standards and SOPs
- Develop high-quality medical content for stakeholders
- Write original research manuscripts, reviews, and final study reports
- Create digital content and other clinical research documents
- Anticipate and meet surgeons' needs
- Support client decision-making with scientific and strategic insights
- Maintain highest quality and accuracy in projects
- Adapt writing styles as needed
- Support research and educational activities from other AO units
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external clients
- Understand and meet project requirements and expectations
- Promote clinical evidence through internal and external channels
- Increase visibility of clinical evidence generated at AO ITC
- Define and lead marketing and communication needs
- Support AO ITC’s marketing and communication efforts
- Liaise with AO ITC business units and communication department
- Maintain medical writing related guidelines, SOPs, and templates
- Ensure maintenance of medical writing related documents
