Requirements

  • University degree in medical, electrical, computer science, software engineering, physics, or comparable technical field
  • Several years experience in medical device or regulated product development
  • Solid understanding of system-level and interdisciplinary development
  • Experience contributing to cross-functional development projects
  • Strong technical skills, ability to discuss details with engineers and align with management
  • Experience with development documentation and verification in regulated environments
  • Excellent communication skills in English and German
  • Enjoyment of technical responsibility and driving topics to closure
  • Comfort navigating complex systems and regulatory constraints
  • Analytical thinking with pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset
  • Clear communication across disciplines and organizational boundaries
  • Motivation to grow as senior technical contributor or toward technical leadership

Tasks

  • Take technical ownership of development projects
  • Provide technical leadership and contribute to decision-making
  • Drive product requirements engineering processes
  • Translate stakeholder input into compliant requirements
  • Define, evaluate, and review technical concepts and architectures
  • Coordinate internal and external development activities
  • Plan and support prototype build-up, qualification, and design
  • Define, execute, and document verification activities
  • Coordinate interdisciplinary troubleshooting and root-cause analysis
  • Drive bug fixes or redesigns for specification compliance
  • Contribute to regulated design and development documentation
  • Interface with hardware, software, quality, and project teams
