Tasks
- Plan, control, and prepare manufacturing processes
- Ensure on-time and economical production
- Monitor production orders, considering deadlines, capacities, and resources
- Conduct detailed and rough planning of production capacities
- Coordinate appointments with sales, purchasing, logistics, and production
- Create and maintain work plans, parts lists, and production documents
- Support ERP/PPS system introduction and development
- Ensure material availability with purchasing and sales based on quantity forecasts
- Implement risk-based material requirements planning
- Adapt supplier strategy
- Participate in supplier selection and management
- Make make-or-buy decisions
- Plan and organize in-house material flow with production
- Analyze production key figures (capacity utilization, throughput time, delivery reliability)
- Optimize production processes for costs, quality, and throughput times
- Collaborate in improvement and lean projects (CIP, Six Sigma, shop floor management)
